Preventing Promotion of Harmful Entities and Activities

Preventing Promotion of Harmful Entities and Activities

Idea
Policy Rationale: In our commitment to fostering a safe and responsible online environment, BIMeta Corporation strictly prohibits the presence of individuals or organizations promoting violence or engaging in harmful activities. We assess entities based on their behavior both within and outside our platform, with a primary focus on their connections to real-world harm. This policy is essential to mitigate potential offline harm resulting from online actions.
InfoTier 1: Entities Engaging in Serious Harm Entities that are actively involved in offline harm, including organizing or advocating violence against civilians, repeated dehumanization or promotion of harm based on protected characteristics, or engaging in systematic criminal operations fall under Tier 1. This category includes hate organizations, criminal organizations (including those designated by relevant authorities), and terrorist organizations. We take extensive measures to enforce content removal, including praise, substantive support, and representation of Tier 1 entities, as well as their leaders, founders, or prominent members.
InfoTier 2: Violent Non-State Actors Entities that engage in violence targeting state or military actors but do not generally target civilians are categorized as Violent Non-State Actors and fall under Tier 2. We strictly remove all forms of substantive support and representation for these entities, including their leaders and prominent members. Praise for their violent activities is also prohibited.
Info
Tier 3: Potential Harbingers of Harm Tier 3 encompasses entities demonstrating a pattern of violating our policies on hate speech or dangerous organizations, both on and off our platform. This tier also includes groups and individuals displaying a strong intent to engage in offline violence in the near future, despite not having a history of direct violence. Such entities, including Militarized Social Movements, Violence-Inducing Conspiracy Networks, and those promoting hatred, are not allowed to have a presence or coordinate on our platforms.
Info
Discussion of Designated Entities: We understand that users may need to share content referencing designated harmful entities for reporting, condemning, or neutral discussion purposes. Our policies permit these discussions while safeguarding against potential offline harm. Users are required to clearly indicate their intent when creating or sharing such content. In cases of ambiguous or unclear intent, we default to content removal.

Human Rights and Policy Compliance: We uphold the principles of international human rights law. Our policies facilitate discussions about the human rights of designated individuals or members of harmful entities, unless such content involves praise, substantive support, representation of designated entities, or other policy violations, including incitement to violence.
