Prohibiting Praise, Support, and Representation of Dangerous Entities

Prohibiting Praise, Support, and Representation of Dangerous Entities

Policy Rationale: At BIMeta Corporation, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and inclusive digital environment. To prevent the propagation of harmful ideologies and actions, we strictly prohibit the expression of praise, substantive support, and representation of various dangerous organizations. This policy aims to ensure that our platform does not become a breeding ground for violence, hatred, or criminal activity.
Praise: We do not allow any form of praise for designated entities or events that promote violence, hatred, or criminal conduct.
Praise is defined as:
  1. Positive Endorsement: Making positive statements about a designated entity or event, glorifying their actions, or portraying them in a favorable light. For instance, "The fighters for the XYZ Organization are courageous and heroic!"
  2. Celebration of Achievements: Giving a designated entity or event a sense of accomplishment or glorifying their actions. For example, "John Doe's attack was a great achievement for our cause."
  3. Legitimization of Harm: Justifying or rationalizing the hateful, violent, or criminal conduct of a designated entity by claiming it is morally, legally, or otherwise acceptable. An example would be, "The atrocities committed by Group ABC were necessary for our movement."
  4. Ideological Alignment: Expressing ideological alignment with a designated entity or event, indicating support for their beliefs or actions. For instance, "I stand in solidarity with the actions of Individual XYZ."
We remove praise for Tier 1 entities and designated events, as well as praise for violent actions carried out by Tier 2 entities.
Substantive Support: We strictly prohibit any form of substantive support that aids or benefits designated entities or events financially, materially, or in any practical manner. Substantive support includes:
  1. Financial Assistance: Providing financial aid to a designated entity, either by directing funds towards them or away from them. For example, "Donate to the XYZ Organization to further our cause!"
  2. Material Aid: Supplying resources, materials, or other tangible support to a designated entity or event. This includes sharing addresses for sending aid. An example would be, "Send supplies to the ABC Group at this address."
  3. Call to Action: Encouraging or soliciting actions on behalf of a designated entity or event, such as urging others to contact them or join their activities. For instance, "Contact the XYZ Group at (XXX) XXX-XXXX."
  4. Recruitment: Actively recruiting individuals to join a designated entity or participate in their activities. An example might be, "Join us in our mission for the XYZ Cause."
  5. Channeling Information: Distributing information, including official communications, on behalf of a designated entity or event. This includes sharing direct quotes from the entity. An example would be, directly quoting a message from the ABC Group without providing condemning context.
We remove substantive support for Tier 1 and Tier 2 entities and designated events.
Representation: Representation involves claiming affiliation with a designated entity or event, or creating digital entities that purport to be owned or operated by them. Representation includes:
  1. Membership Claims: Stating or implying that you are a member of a designated entity or event. For example, "I am a proud member of the XYZ Organization."
  2. Digital Entities: Establishing Pages, Profiles, Events, Groups, or other online entities that claim to be owned by or associated with a designated entity or event. An example would be creating a Page titled "Supporters of Group ABC."
We remove representation of Tier 1 and Tier 2 designated organizations, entities that have been banned for hate, and designated events.
This policy underscores our commitment to maintaining a safe and responsible digital space while respecting the principles of free expression that align with peaceful advocacy for political outcomes. For additional information, please refer to our overarching Corporate Human Rights Policy.
